Get over your hard times and get your life back on track

We get insanely upset and devastated when life shoots us in the face with something very unexpected (in a negative way). Any examples? We all have been there – lost the job, broke up with boyfriend/girlfriend, broke an expensive phone, lost investments, so on and so forth.   The most interesting thing is that we can’t see at first how we close our eyes and turn ourselves around from the solutions, diving into depression, procrastination, sadness into the “no way out” mode. Instead of losing time and energy on current circumstances resistance, let’s see what you can do to get out of that mode and change things around you very quickly!    1. Limit your moaning time Easy to say, hard to do. Emotions are important, we all understand that trust me..we all do. Give yourself some time to let all those emotions out, get upset, cry, share this suffering with the world. For sure, If you keep all that …

Remote work ideas to make money online in 2019

I am a hard worker. I don’t think it’s a very good thing, because it is always better to work smarter and not harder, but at this point in my life, I work a lot. My friends work a lot too and after researching where people make money from without any investments (assuming you have a laptop and the internet, maybe a camera as well) I decided to come up with this post. Here are some of the platforms you can use for extra – revenue. Or actually, you can even live off these sources.   1. Share your knowledge with Skillshare  One of the best ways how to share your knowledge with people is to teach them your ways. You make an online course with several classes within one program. Build up the program, give your students some homework. It will take some time to come up with an idea of what you will teach, but as soon as you …

10 tips to improve your creativity

Creativity is defined as: 1. the state or quality of being creative.   2. the ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc.; originality, progressiveness, or imagination: the need for creativity in modern industry; creativity in the performing arts.   3. the process by which one utilizes creative ability: Extensive reading stimulated his creativity.   A lot of people (I am not an exception) struggle with generating creative ideas. There are some simple tips we can use to change that and push our creative mind 😂   1. Don’t get locked on one idea or direction. There is such a thing as “Become a pro in one thing”, but when you want to expand your creativity, you should rely on whatever you like and get the maximum from it. If you are a writer, but also like painting, try to create one and I am sure some …

Become a best friend to yourself. Part 2

… coming back to the topic – Becoming a best friend to yourself.   When we are taking about friends and best friends, everyone will mention Bob, Patricia, Phill…etc., but who we never think of the closest ones? Ourselves. But we should. I believe that If you treat yourself as a best friend and help yourself in the same passionate way as you’d do for other best friend, you can make yourself happier. Look what we usually do. Let’s say Bob (your best friend) called you and said he’s got a massive problem and can’t figure it our himself. He needs you and what do you do? Exactly, as a good person and great friend you’ll find the time, run, drive, fly to your friend, help him out, will be there to listen. Sometimes you won’t even care If you are tired, or busy, you will be there for your friend. Most of the time we ignore ourselves though. When …

English IELTS Life Skills test for the UK visa

I am in the process of applying for a spouse visa in the UK now and one of the requirements is A1 English IELTS Life Skills test. There is only one place in the Czech Republic where you can pass this one only in Prague – https://www.britishcouncil.cz/.  An examiner is coming from Viena though where you also can pass the test If you live in the Czech Republic but don’t want to go to Prague. If you don’t know where you can pass the test in your country, you can check a list of approved tests provided here.   The test itself takes around 15 minutes. There is no writing part, mostly speaking and 2 listening tasks. Questions were very basic, examiner spoke very slowly and you could ask any questions you had. The whole test is being recorded from the first minute till the end of it. I passed my test with another guy. First of all, we were asked what our …

Become a best friend to yourself. Part 1

I had a thought several months ago that I am arguing with myself quite often. I used to have conflict situations inside me on a daily basis all the time, I still do sometimes, but at least now I work on it and know how to cope with that OR who to talk to help me understand myself. It’s a funny thing though, talking to someone to start to feel yourself better but I will talk about it later on.   I’ll start with the story. I dreamed to be a dancer all my life. I love music, I enjoy dancing and as soon as I hear the track which somehow moves deeply, I instantly have tons of ideas for some short choreography, or I literally imagine how would a dance look like for video shooting. I mean, my creativity is on it! But I am too self-critical. I do hate an inability to create a dance, have …

2 hours in Dresden, where to …?

Sometimes you need to spend a couple of hours in between flights or while you change the train station, we all faced that, right? Dresden is a wonderful city full of history, unbelievable architecture and atmosphere. If you have even 2 hours, I suggest spending some time in the city!     The best place to see the city for such a short period of time – is Innere Altstadt. It is a district in the old town and the historic centre of Dresden. Have a cup of coffee in local restaurants and visit: Frauenkirche church – majestic building! Was built in the 18th century, and later was destroyed during World War II. By the decision of local East German leaders, the remaining ruins were left for 50 years as a war memorial. Reconstruction works started in 1994 and were completed in 2005. Take your time and walk in to see the interior. All building looks beautiful inside as well.   …

Stress, negative emotions. How to deal with it?

We all stress out every day at some point. No? Well, then you must be a person who can control their emotions and stays focused on the “now”. Who doesn’t let anything or anyone ruin their day! But If sometimes some little things i.e people’s behaviour, weather etc can immediately and easily switch you from; ” I am happy, such a good day” to ” I hate this…I feel angry” – you and I have the same issue which we need to work on. The thing is that I get nervous very easily, which I never used to feel before I completely changed my life. Relocated, changed job, ambitions etc. The thing is I care too much about things I probably shouldn’t think about 24/7 as I do now. It’s hard to make me feel angry but for example; if I plan to go to the outskirts on the weekend and it didn’t happen – my day is over …

Architecture in this city is just amazing and breathtaking! The vibe of Cambridge is very unusual. Houses are not so tall, a lot of historical architecture has stayed as it was hundreds of years. New buildings don’t ruin the atmosphere or views which is just perfect! As well as having such prestigious technological and medical advancements Cambridge also has a wide and varied arts culture. That includes music, dance, drama,    street arts, etc. If you like …

Dancing experience and future goals. Is it hard become a dancer?

Dance is the hidden language of the soul of the body. After being a dancer for years I wanted to do more dancing projects, dance videos, and perform as a part of a hip hop team. I started dancing when I was 8 y.o.. My parents brought me to a dance school and I began my first ballet class. I failed the opening audition and the school was reluctant to take me, but then after my second audition – I was in! Full force, 2-4 times a week (maybe even more, I really don’t remember), averaging 2 classes a day which was intense as a young child. It was an amazing but challenging experience! I didn’t have a typical ballet physique with limited flexibility yet very artistic and emotional. I graduated after 8 years and it was a long time before I started to dance again at the university where I took some contemporary classes including stretching and jazz funk. …
