Stress, negative emotions. How to deal with it?

We all stress out every day at some point. No? Well, then you must be a person who can control their emotions and stays focused on the “now”. Who doesn’t let anything or anyone ruin their day! But If sometimes some little things i.e people’s behaviour, weather etc can immediately and easily switch you from; ” I am happy, such a good day” to ” I hate this…I feel angry” – you and I have the same issue which we need to work on. The thing is that I get nervous very easily, which I never used to feel before I completely changed my life. Relocated, changed job, ambitions etc. The thing is I care too much about things I probably shouldn’t think about 24/7 as I do now. It’s hard to make me feel angry but for example; if I plan to go to the outskirts on the weekend and it didn’t happen – my day is over …

Cambridge one day trip!

Cambridge is a small student city based in the county of Cambridgeshire UK located on the river Cam.  It has a population of 124 000 people with over a 5th of that being students. Historically and archaeologically Cambridge has been a settlement from the bronze age and was occupied by both the Romans and Vikings. Today Cambridge is most famous for its university which was opened in the year 1209 which led to many startup companies specializing in a software development and biosciences. Architecture in this city is just amazing and breathtaking! The vibe of Cambridge is very unusual. Houses are not so tall, a lot of historical architecture has stayed as it was hundreds of years. New buildings don’t ruin the atmosphere or views which is just perfect! As well as having such prestigious technological and medical advancements Cambridge also has a wide and varied arts culture. That includes music, dance, drama,    street arts, etc. If you like …

Dancing experience and future goals. Is it hard become a dancer?

Dance is the hidden language of the soul of the body. After being a dancer for years I wanted to do more dancing projects, dance videos, and perform as a part of a hip hop team. I started dancing when I was 8 y.o.. My parents brought me to a dance school and I began my first ballet class. I failed the opening audition and the school was reluctant to take me, but then after my second audition – I was in! Full force, 2-4 times a week (maybe even more, I really don’t remember), averaging 2 classes a day which was intense as a young child. It was an amazing but challenging experience! I didn’t have a typical ballet physique with limited flexibility yet very artistic and emotional. I graduated after 8 years and it was a long time before I started to dance again at the university where I took some contemporary classes including stretching and jazz funk. …

How to make BULLETPROOF coffee?

Bulletproof coffee is a coffee with butter and oil.   You might think that no one would ever mix these things together to get a delicious coffee, but it’s actually quite tasty (depends on oil and butter you use) and helps with: weight loss it kills pesky cravings it gives you more energy The recipe is extremely simple. You’ll need 2 teaspoons of coffee (you can use usual coffee or special bulletproof coffee, but not the lyophilized), 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. That will be enough for you If you are fasting. If you are not, then you can also add 1 tablespoon of heavy whipping cream, you can use MCT oil. To add more taste you can use cinnamon, cocoa powder (sugar-free), etc. Now you put it all together in a blender and blend it together 🙂 It’s better to have your coffee in the morning! Try to keep it high-fat coffee with no sugar or sweet components. Easy, tasty and healthy 🙂 Enjoy!

Fasting to KETO. My experience

A couple of months ago I decided to try this “Keto diet” which worked extremely well for my friends and they got amazing results within weeks in terms of getting more energy and weight loss progress.   Some of you might ask (as lots of my friends did): “What the hell is Keto diet? What is ketosis?”   Ketosis is a metabolic state in which some of the body’s energy supply comes from ketone bodies in the blood, in contrast to a state of glycolysis in which blood glucose provides energy.   So basically you need your body to start burning fat to get energy. The main rule of this diet – eat more healthy fats as possible! Yep, that’s right. For me, it was a bit shocking because all people who are completely crazy about fitness, healthy food, always told me – “more proteins, more vegetables, less sugar and fats”. But here you have to remove carbs to 20g/day, 80% …

10 minutes to make a song cover!

Sometimes I sing. And I love singing but usually I’m too shy to sing in public. So my boyfriend came up with an idea of making covers every week. Yesterday we made the first one!   Originally we had an idea of making a video collage with different sounds and harmonies along with the main guitar and vocal. The problem was that we started pretty late and after 10 minutes and 3 attempts we decided that it’s good to leave it this way for the first video. I didn’t know the lyrics well and Dec was looking at chords but we are happy with what we made 🙂   Song -> Lera Lynn: My least favourite life  This one is one of the soundtracks from “True Detective” TV series.  Loved the mood and the way the girl is singing! That’s why we picked this song!     Hope you like it and you can give us some feedback 😉 Happy singing and playing …

How to get a lot of things done and don’t get nuts!

I am sure you also felt like you have no strength and everything what happens to you now is too much. Too many things of the same time, some urgent problems you have to resolve, people you have to meet, important trips etc. At the same time, we all want some time and space for ourselves.   1. Make a list of all things you need to accomplish this week/month. When you have a full picture it’s easier to prioritize within your list. Now you know what can’t wait and should be done ASAP and what you can temporarily forget about and do it later.   2. Cross ones you’ve finished! It helps to visualise your progress and you can see actually how much you already did!   3. Appreciate small wins. Instead of saying: “I haven’t done that much” / “Didn’t do so well” / “Still super overloaded”, say to yourself: “OK! I actually accomplished 15% of everything …

How the Czech Republic treats us so far

Never shared yet our feedback about the life in the Czech Republic. During the whole year, we’ve got so many stories, memories, difficulties and overall amazing experience. Along with how much we adore this country I can’t leave unmentioned that fact that it hasn’t been so easy for us to make life here very comfortable.   I am working in sales as a Media Buyer in a start-up company. My fiancee is a stonemason but here he works as an English teacher. We are both qualified in what we are doing. Ambitious, motivated, positive and always aimed at success. However, it wasn’t surprisingly easy to make enough money to satisfy our needs. We’d like to travel, save some amount for future plans and expand opportunities, but unfortunately, even after a year, I can’t say we’re close to that.   IT industry is overloaded beyond belief. I myself know a lot of people who make good money in sales within IT. Most …

Waiting and Patience

I am not the most patient person (unfortunately!). Most of the time I barely handle my emotions caused by delays. Even now I am literally writing this post from the airport while I am waiting for delayed Ryanair flight to the UK.🙄 If you are like me and you hate waiting, welcome on board! I’ll tell you what are the things to do to cope with your emotions and turn potentially wasted time into productive. Last minute plans changes? No big deal! Make sure you adjust your plans to avoid the mess. Stay busy! Find some other things to so while you are waiting. Read a book, write a blog, socialize with people, make some useful research…etc. Stay positive! Yup! As simple as it is – keep a positive attitude. Even If this delay ’cause many other changes in your plans, it is not the end of the world! You can spend this time being proactive, positive and even turn it into fun! …

LATEST TRIP/ Great Yarmouth / UK

Recently we’ve made a new Vlog about the UK! You can watch it HERE But let me tell you a bit more about our trip in addition to the video. Recently my fiancee left the Czech Republic and went back to the UK to work towards my wife visa. He has to have bank statements for the last 6 months for the application to show that he can support me after I apply for a visa. Spouse visas are quite complicated in England…I guess as everywhere. Because Dec worked in Prague before,  he had no incoming funds from English companies and Czech ones won’t count, which means he’s got to go to the UK for 6 months OR we could provide savings £ 64 000 (this amount also has to be on his account for half a year) which is an enormous amount of money for us at the moment. That’s why he’s there now. I am still living in Prague because there …
